Kipper, Peter – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Kipper on February 7th, 2019, peacefully at home.
Born in Germany on December 12, 1948, he was the son of the late Stefan and Ursula (Arendt) Kipper.
Peter was a loving and devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather; and his special bond with his grandson Tyler, was something he treasured deeply. He had a long career as a Real Estate Agent with HomeLife, and was often the recipient of many Agent Selling Awards. When he was not spending time with his family, he could be found administering many local photography groups. Peter’s many past times included watching Coronation Street and football, getting lost in a good crossword puzzle or sudoku, and having many laughs with his friends at Dave Doolittles and Staggers. Peter will forever be remembered for his kind and friendly demeanor and ability to make friends among strangers. His philosophy in life can be summed up in his favorite saying “Carpe Diem”.
Peter will sadly be missed by his surviving daughters, Erika Kipper and Heidi Murphy; grandchildren Emily, Justin, Tyler (Ashley Richard), Kyle, Gillian, Aidan, Julian, McKenna, Paisley and Declan; great grandchildren, Kaleb and Kylah; mother of his children, Patricia Boyle; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Stefan and Ursula Kipper.
Cremation has taken place. Family will receive visitors at Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth from 6pm until 8pm, Thursday the 14th of February. A celebration of life will take place at 2pm on Friday the 15th of February, in the Atlantic Funeral Home Chapel, with a reception to follow.
