I had the honor of working with Rob through the years on a number of projects. He was always a bright light, fun to work with and strived to stay fit. He would never pass up a volleyball challenge! Rob will be sorely missed by myself and the team we worked with.
Hi Charlene - I got to know Rob through curling at CFB during Sunday morning curling and Tuesday/Thursday night leagues. What a great guy, real gentleman and really good curler! We had many chat about his military time, civilian time and Halifax Mooseheads hockey. I only ever played as an opponent of Rob in curling but I can tell you when I was on the ice playing I always felt I was actually a part of His team! That's the way he made you feel. God bless him. Truly miss him. My condolences to you all.
I knew Rob when I was on the Gatineau, he was a funny, genuine, good person! I always enjoyed talking with him and having a few cold ones. He was easy going and fun to be around, a great loss! My thoughts are with the family
We are deeply saddened hearing of Rob's passing. I had the privilege of working with Rob in Cape Scott on Submarines after he retired from the Navy. He was always cheerful, positive, hard working and a gentleman besides being a good friend. We feel fortunate to have had an enjoyable lunch visit from Rob and Charlene last spring. A memory we will treasure. RIP my friend.
I'm shocked and so saddened to hear of Rob's passing. I worked with Rob at the Dockyards doing late night alignments for INS and weapons systems for the Navy, and curled with him abit on Sunday mornings. A good guy, great skip.
