He was predeceased by his parents, Hope and Clarence “Bud” Purcell. He is survived by his loving wife, Sue (Wright) Purcell, his son, Tim Purcell (Debbie Martin) and grandchildren Ocean, Marty, Anna-Rose, Mabel and Everett. He is also survived by his sister Christine Purcell; nieces Alisha and Kayleigh.
A memorial service will be held in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth on Saturday, August 28th, from 2-4pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope for Wildlife.
On behalf of the entire Boyd family (shayna, nathan, brandon, Jonathan, Kevin, gina, ayden, Issac, ) we wish you our sincerest condolences. Over the years we enjoyed Bill's silly prankster ways, and he so often loved to share his deer meat catches and stories of catching the big one. We couldn't have picked a better papa for our ocean, and we will miss having him in our lives. Prayers for all of you, and know we will be here if you need anything.
Sorry for your loss, Tim.
I have lots of good memories working with your father, renovating work, parties, camping, fishing trips, hunting and many more great times. He will be greatly missed, there was no one like him.
