Age 93 of 130 Vimy Rd., Bible Hill. Passed away July 1, 2022 born in Halifax May 23,1929, she was the daughter of Clarence Mclellan and Angeline Martelle. It is with great sadness that the family of Madeline Drysdale announces that she left us in this world to be united in eternity with Bill Drysdale husband of 63 years, son Edward Drysdale and daughter Mary Drysdale. She was a loving mother who worked hard her whole life long raising her fifth-generation family. Mom’s tremendous love for life and for others caused her to reach out and support many in need of homecare. Madeline was a person of courage strength and faith she was a lot of things to a lot of people; she was a people person who cared for others. Mom enjoyed dancing, playing guitar, singing and working in her garden. Everywhere she went and every place she lived she got along well and was never afraid to speak her mind. Mom was totally amazed at the numbers in her family, she is survived by her daughters Alice Baldasso, Lalia Crossley, Deanna (Shawn)Harvey, Sons William (Pat) Drysdale and Sam (Dianne) Drysdale. Grand children Shannon (David) Olazabal, Alicia Baldasso, Candice (Jean Guy) Beaudoin, Nicholas (Lori) Crossley, Trevor (Melissa) Crossley, Kyle (Alana) Harvey, Dianna (Wade) Drysdale, Gary Drysdale, Belinda (Jame) Drysdale and Lennie (Renee) Drysdale. Step grandchildren Alison and Darren Estabrooks. Great grandchildren Havana, Isla, Lauchlan, Landon, Hope, Lukas, Blossom, Jackson, Abigail, Caleb, Ellianna, Landon, Waylon, Eddy (Jessica), Aaron (Ashley), Kira, Becca, Michala, Emma, Thomas, Jason and step great grandchildren Dylan and Felicity. Great great grandchildren Rogan and Ellie. Madeline was predeceased by her parents Clarence and Angeline Mclellan, husband William Leonard Drysdale, son Edward B (Nancy) Drysdale daughter Mary A. Drysdale, son-in-law Kirk Crossley and Ron Brown. Also, her faithful canine companion Suzie. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 7 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 and Friday, July 8 from 12 to 1 followed by funeral at 1 all in Atlantic funeral home 125 Sackville Dr. burial in Oak Ridge Memorial Gardens with a reception to follow at the funeral home. Madeline was a very kind loving woman who always spoke her mind. She was very proud of her garden showing me what she had planted when I went over to cut her grass. My deepest condolences to all her family.
