I had the opportunity to work with Faith , Don Carlson , Gloria Gramik, and Bill Younger for one session of Med Lab RRCC course in the mid eighties. Faith was a wonderful person who was a mentor to her students and her colleagues. I also used to see her occasionally in Transcona as she lived near years ago. My sympathy to her family. So sorry for your loss.

I was saddened to hear of Faith’s passing. I was a student of hers at Red River in the practice of Microbiology. She was an amazing instructor and had such a heart for her students and teaching. She taught us well and had a great sense of humour. We loved heading to Microbiology Lab with Faith and she was clearly “one” of our favourites for many years! Over the years, we still often reminisce about her and how great and approachable she was! Rest well dear Faith! My deepest sympathies to the family for their profound loss. She was pretty special. ❤️

Faith was a fellow instructor in the medical laboratory sciences program at RRC and mentor to me as I learned the trade. She was always student focused and was a progressive thinker. Many students in Manitoba were successful because of her. I valued her professionalism and friendship over the years. Faith also had a great sense of humour and we shared many laughs together. Faith will be missed. My sincere condolences to her family.

It is with deep sadness that we reflect on Faith's gentle passing. We have been friends since 1990, when we first met in a creative writing class at the U. of W. Since that time, we have been meeting in a small writing group, taking in plays at the PTE, going to the movies, enjoying meals out together , sharing holiday time in Arizona and visiting back and forth in Winnipeg. We even bought perogies together and shared our rhubarb patch--such good times! Faith will never be forgotten and Lawrence will always be our good friend.

Faith was a humble and gentle soul. She was always very helpful to the Med lab students in the training program and no doubt contributed to their success. Rest in Peace, fellow cohort. Deepest condolences to Lawrence and to her family and friends.
