Michael Sinclair MacAulay
Age 80, of Eastern Passage, passed away November 5, 2022 in Dartmouth General Hospital. It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Michael MacAulay, the beloved husband to Jean. Mike was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Annie (MacLean) MacAulay; his sister, Sadie Hill; and his brothers, Rodney and Donald. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jean (Fraser;, his sister, Jean Motorny (Walter); his brother, Wayne (Elba); his son, Daryl (Lynn); his daughter, Sandra (Kenny); his son, Mark; his grandchildren, Tristan, Tia (Kyle), Justin (Hannah) and Chloe; and his great-grandchildren, Lily, Aubree, and Ayden. Mike proudly served in the Military (Army) for 35 years and retired in 1995 as a Chief Warrant Officer. He was based in numerous postings across Canada as well as in Germany. He was a handyman and avid woodworker. He enjoyed telling his stories and having coffee times and tee-times with his friends. The love he shared with Jean was one for the ages. He was the best father/grandfather/ great-grandfather and role model for his family; he was a true treasure of a man. Family was everything to him……even more than GOLF! And as you always said dad “Love you lots!”. As he wanted us to “Don’t mourn me but celebrate me.,” A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 12th at 2 p.m. Please contact his immediate family for the address.
