CARSON, Alexander Brait May 30, 1934 - May 9, 2020
It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of Alexander (Alec) Carson on Saturday, May 9, 2020. Alec is survived by his loving family; wife, friend, and partner Eleanor Carson; daughter Peggy (Dale) Fox, son Jim (Teri) Carson and three special grandchildren; Lannie Fox, Brait and Nate Carson. Alec was predeceased by son Michael Carson. A graduate of the University of New Brunswick, Alec made his living as a geologist in the oil and gas industry. After Alec retired, he and Eleanor spent some very special years at their cottage on Shuswap Lake. A family graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a charity of your choice.

Dear Eleanor, Peggy, Jim and family,
I was so, so sorry to read of Alec's passing. Although it has been decades since I have seen Alec, I still have found memories of him, especially from the summers at Shuswap lake. My heart goes out to all of you at this very difficult time.
My deepest sympathies,
Susan (Drackett) Tumback
Dear Eleanor, it is with a heavy heart that we express our sorrow at the news of Alec's passing. Alec was the kind of man that anybody would be proud to call a friend.
Our time together at Mobil Oil was brief, but it was long enough to learn that when Alec spoke it was probably a good idea to listen. Never having heard a bad work from anybody with regards to Alec, is testimony to the fact that everyone felt as we do; that he was a straight shooter and utterly trustworthy. He was a good man.
Words are never enough and messages like this are hard to write. Be aware that we are with you in spirit and ready to help you in any way we can in these difficult times.
