Condolences to Marie and extended family. We always looked forward to your visits and will miss your optimism and humor.
Friday night watching the Stampede chuckwagon races I thought about Roger, only to hear on Saturday that he had passed away. I was lucky to work at Jarvis Travel from 1981-1988 and to travel with he and Marie and my husband Kerry to Woodside meetings in Boston and around the world. Everyone who ever met Roger (and there were many!) will forever remember his kindness, his openness to new ideas, his love of practical jokes. Sincere condolences to you Marie.
Marie, as I told you today, Roger was the single largest influence in how both my career and life unfolded. I spent 21 years working for and with this remarkable man at Jarvis Travel, and they were the best years of my life.
The lessons he taught me, the role model he was, and the friend that I could always lean on,,,,I could go on.
I am proud to have called him my mentor and coach, and humbled by the opportunity to have known and worked for him.
Our hearts are heavy at this time, our condolences to you, Marie, and to Lori, Brian and their families.

Our sincere condolences to Marie and family on the loss of a great man and a true gentlemen. I was fortunate to work with Roger when he was on the Board of The Calgary Airport Authority. I had many interactions with Roger and was always impressed how prepared he was for Audit and Board meetings, asking the direct questions and accepting the answers as management we gave him. I got to know Roger very well and enjoyed just chatting about the aviation industry, airports, golf and many other topics. The world has lost a honorable, giving, funny, down to earth and gracious man. Marie and family you will be in our prayers. I know that Roger is smiling down on all of you. Rest in peace Roger, you will be missed!
Deepest condolences to the Jarvis family. Roger was a kind, gentle and brilliant businessman always putting people first building amazing culture. His words, wisdom and influence helped shape the start of my career in travel and tourism industry and am confident he did the same with many others. I fondly remember Jarvis Travel Christmas parties, Stampeder Football games and friendships that originated from his generosity. I learned a lot from Roger and his legacy of giving to others will live forever.
My dearest Marie & family,
My heart is so very heavy after learning about Roger's passing.
He was an extraordinary man...mentor to many, a leader in business & friend to all who were blessed to know him. There will never be another Roger. It was an honor to have known him.
I'm so incredibly saddened for you. I pray you feel his love wrapped around you for it was truly an everlasting, shinning love.
You're in our thoughts & prayers

I had the pleasure of working for Jarvis Travel 20+ years ago. Roger always liked to play jokes and was a generous man. The work was stressful but the friendships and memories endure.
Condolences to the Jarvis family from Scotland.
Please accept my sincere sympathies for the loss of Roger. I have known him since he was a young man, from wonderful parents, who were so proud of his successes. Roger never forgot his roots. Often in August, he would return to the small village where he grew up, to visit with old friends from his younger days, much to everyone’s delight. His personality and his big smile will surely be missed.

Marie and family, I am so sorry for you loss. Roger was a excellent business man, with a ready smile, a joke and a laugh.
He was a great mentor, I learned a lot, I enjoyed my three years working with him. It is sad to lose someone who added so much positivity to our lives, to his clients and to suppliers. Everyone loved Roger.
I remember meeting Roger just like it was yesterday...I worked at Jarvis Travel for several years and I always remember how Roger was always smiling, making people laugh and feeling special. My fondest memory was him riding in the Stampede Parade as President, with all us cheering for him from the 6th floor balcony of the office.
I will be there at your Celebration of Life to share what a kind hearted man you will always be!
Rest in Peace!
