I was introduced to Ken shortly after I met Steve. We were in grade 8 and were always at Steve's house for a variety of reasons. Most of the time spent in Steve's basement was watching movies or football. Ken was part of the group, not just because it was his basement, but he was also entrenched in what the group was doing. Ken was always good for a joke, a round of drinks, or commentary on how the CFL had it all wrong with long yardage passing plays. Ken felt there should be more emphasis on short yardage routes. Always hospitable, I recall many dinners and barbecues at the Poffenroth's. Ken was one of the nicest people I have met. I remember those times, and Ken, very fondly. Our family offers our deepest condolences to Karen, Steve, Joanne, and Gwen. Everett, Misty, Gage and Zoe Everson
