To David, Ian, Susan, Family Members & Friends, The members of the Canadian Forces Supplementary Radio (SUPRAD) System Oldtimers Association were saddened by the news of Lise passing. Her military career, 1951-1953, as a Wren (Women's Royal Naval Service) employed in communications as a Radioman Special (RS Rate) was commendable. There are still a few of our SUPRAD Oldtimers around who served at NRS Coverdale in the early 1950's, where Lise worked as a Signals Intelligence operator and High Frequency Direction Finding (HFDF) operator. When Lise married Able Seaman David Porter, and retired from the military, she went on to have a very active and impressive life. From reading Lise obituary, it becomes quite obvious that she left a lasting impression with many people. There can be no doubt that she will be dearly missed by her loving family, friends and associates. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. 'Friends Forever'
