Memorialization and personalization choices

How would you or your loved one want to be remembered?

In life, we express ourselves through our passions, our hobbies and our interests. And these are also the things we might remember most about our loved ones.

Many people choose to honor their unique qualities, or that of a loved one, by making them part of their funeral and cemetery arrangements.

Although traditional cemeteries are often imagined as old graveyards with crooked, unkempt headstones; modern resting places have in fact come a long way and today there are a variety of choices when it comes to memorialization and personalization.

Customized headstones and statues made of beautiful materials are just a few of the options available to personalize a resting place. Choices can be tailored to suit any budget or faith community. Mausoleums, private crypts, niches, upright monuments and bronze burial markers are just some of the many options to select from.

Some cemeteries may offer you the option of being close to a pond or picturesque garden, facing the sunset or a hilltop with a beautiful view. Or perhaps a memorial rock or bench set in a nature walk.

A resting place might reflect someone’s love of music, their passion for outdoor activities or a lifetime’s dedication to a worthy cause. No matter the person or their personality, arrangements can be made for a lasting, unique and personal tribute to their life.

A final resting place is a sacred space. Whether it’s elaborate or elegantly simple, it will be a place that friends and family members will visit for generations to come not only to grieve but also to honor and remember.

There are many choices to explore and the experienced team of professionals at Arbor Memorial is always able and available to guide you through everything you need to know.
