How to Choose a Meaningful Keepsake

Blog Home

Learning to cope is a profoundly individualized process when a loved one leaves us. That's why we're proud to offer you mementos to cherish through our partnership with Eternity's Touch—another family-owned, Canadian company.

From personalized jewellery to hand-blown glass art, we offer a wide selection of keepsakes to maintain a tangible connection to those we’ve lost. Whether a loved one has chosen burial or cremation, there are meaningful keepsake options for everyone. Most pieces across the collections can be personalized with a fingerprint, text, a laser-etched photo, your loved one’s handwriting, or cremated remains.

We have four collections to choose from. Let’s explore the options.

The Classic Collection

The Classic Collection features elegantly designed fine jewellery available in sterling silver, white gold, and yellow gold. These handcrafted designs are available as tags, pendants, and lockets.

In addition to the popular necklace options, there are also beautiful signet rings, cufflinks, tie clips, and lapel pins for personalized pieces that may be the perfect addition to your formal wear.

The Simply Remembered Collection

With over 20 stainless steel cremation keepsake options, you'll find the appropriate piece to memorialize your loved one.

For the music lover, there are treble clef and music note-shaped urns a hockey stick for the sports fan, and for those who favour simplicity, there's the sleek bullet, cylinder, and bar keepsakes.

The Serenity Glass & Eternal Ash Collections

These hand-blown glass art pieces and keepsakes can be infused with cremated remains. These unique statement pieces can be kept close in the form of jewellery or home and office decor.

For the Serenity Glass collection of jewellery, you have the option to choose from leather, rope, curb, or snake chains.

Any products from the Eternal Ash collection can be customized with any two beautiful colours plus white.

The Gift Collection

These mementos are perfect for both family members and friends. We offer a diverse range of gifts, from personalized picture frames to lighters and even guitar pics.

Most of these items can be personalized with a fingerprint, an authentic signature, or text. Please consult with your Arbor funeral director for more information on specific products.

To make this process as easy as possible, we've addressed some of our commonly asked questions below:

Question 1: "What's the quality and restoration policy of these keepsakes?"

All of the materials are of the highest quality available. We offer both semi-precious and precious metals sourced in North America. Eternity's Touch has a fantastic restoration policy, and we work closely with them to efficiently address all product concerns.

Question 2: "Are my loved one's fingerprints secure?"

Eternity's Touch doesn’t house anyone's biometrics. Fingerprint photos are taken via scanner, an app, or a secure device from Arbor. These photos are then stored in an encrypted archive and will never be shared with third parties. You’ll receive a secure PIN to access the image of your loved one’s fingerprint.

Question 3: "What's a secure PIN?"

Your secure PIN is your unique number associated with your loved one's fingerprint image. This PIN is necessary to receive any fingerprint keepsakes.

Question 4: "How long can I wait to make a purchase?"

For as long as you need!

For example, all fingerprint images are held on the Eternity's Touch central archive for 10 years and then moved to a longer-term archive, allowing you to purchase keepsakes at your convenience.

Question 5: Are you interested in a keepsake through Arbor & Eternity's Touch?

At Arbor Memorial, we're dedicated to helping you memorialize and remember your loved ones. We passionately believe that partnering with Eternity's Touch allows us to do just that in a personalized and meaningful way.
