About Capital Funeral Home and Cemetery
As we celebrate the lives and memories of our departed loved ones, join us for an in-person memorial service of music, light and reflection on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at 7:00 PM. Complimentary Tree Ornaments will be available for pick-up.
Christmas Carols will be performed by Ottawa Fire Services Brass Band.
The Candlelight Service will also be available for viewing online for those who are unable to attend the in-person event as of Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at 7:00 PM featuring a message of comfort from Dr. Bill Webster who will share some helpful suggestions with us on coping with the holidays.
Members of our multicultural staff will recite poems and verses in English, French, Italian, Spanish, Tagalog, Portuguese and Cantonese.
You will hear Musical Interludes by Flute and Harp Duo of Sheila White and Lucile Brais Hildesheim, a vocal performance by Soprano Bronwyn Kelly and a message from a representative of the Ottawa Aboriginal Coalition.
The link will be available until January 9, 2022. Our hope is that this video will bring a sense of comfort.
Please Note: All attending the in-person event must provide proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and identification prior to entering. We ask for your understanding as we navigate these challenging times together.
