It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of our beloved Adrianna McDonald, July 17th, 2023 at the age of 40 years old. Adrianna was born in Edmonton Alberta on May 13,1983. She was the youngest daughter of three children. Adrianna is survived by her loving husband Michael McDonald, parents Diana and Gerard O’Regan; biological father Andy Ginn; Brothers Devon (Shannon) O'Regan and Shawn (Natasha) Ginn, Grandparent Marie Smith, as well as many Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, colleagues and associates.

Adrianna leaves a legacy of hope for other patients through her work with Obesity Canada. Thanks to her bravery, dedication, passion and advocacy, she was able to bring education and awareness to many professional communities, both locally and Nationally. Adrianna embraced everyone she met with open arms and her smiling optimism always made those in her presence feel loved. Her love and compassion, respect and grace will never be forgotten.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to all that have shown their love and support in this extremely unbearable time. A celebration of life for Adri will be held - date TBD.

Although, I only knew Adrianna a short time, as her roommate in the hospital. Until, they moved her into a different room. I was shocked, and still am over her passing. Much love to Michael and family during this difficult time.

I was deeply saddened to hear about the loss of Adrianna. She will always hold a special place in my memories. Her sweet smile and joyful spirit were contagious, leaving a lasting impact on those around her. I extend my heartfelt condolences to her family during this difficult time.
