DR. EDWIN (Ted) HAROLD NEAVE, loving son of the late Edwin Neave & Wilma Eleanor (Skogman) Neave. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Lees (Brunton) Neave. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by sister Eileen Eleanor (Neave) Morris, son Bruce Edwin Neave, daughter Barbara Christian (Neave) Quesnel & husband Michael, niece Marilyn Dawn (Morris) Vanthull & husband John, and grandchildren Danielle Elizabeth Quesnel, Jay E. Quesnel, and Connor David Barber Neave.
Ted and his family came to Kingston in 1971. He enjoyed a distinguished career spanning four decades at Queen’s University’s Smith School of Business. In 2009, he was inducted into the Smith Faculty Hall of Fame. He authored numerous articles and books. Ted’s banking education programs are used in more than forty countries. He is an Honorary Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers.
The family will have a Memorial Service at Robert J. Reids Funeral Home at 309 Johnson Street, Kingston on Tuesday, February 14th, 2023 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, the family believes Ted would prefer people perform an act of kindness. Any memorial donations to the Canadian Red Cross, VON, War Amps, or other charity that is meaningful to you, are welcomed.
