Jill has worked at Sands for over 6 years. She has lived, worked and volunteered in the Cowichan Valley for over 25 years. Jill enjoys fishing, hiking, swimming and anything outdoors!

Tracey has been a part of the Sands Duncan family for over 3 years. She has lived in the Cowichan Valley for over 50 years and enjoys gardening and spending quality time with her daughter Taylor.

Born and raised in Victoria and a chef since graduating the Camosun Culinary arts program in 2002, Michael has trained at some of the area’s finest establishments including The Aerie Resort on the Malahat. After travelling to many wonderful places including an 15-month stint in Switzerland to learn his craft, Michael came home to re-establish his roots. He has been catering to and teaching Victoria his tantalizing and nutritious creations and has made a name for himself on TV as the “Island Chef”. Working in unison with local farmers and purveyors, Michael builds his cuisine with health and vitality in mind while making it taste amazing.

Having worked in the floral industry for almost a decade Erin brings all her passion and expertise when designing custom arrangements for our numerous clients. After taking over Petals Plus Floral Design in 2017 Erin has gone on to place fifth and forth consecutively in the Maple Leaf Cup; a National floral competition held every spring. Her real passion however is grounded in creating bespoke sympathy sprays and arrangements for all of our Vancouver Island locations. Using flowers sourced locally whenever possible, this Victoria native will be sure to support and honour the memory of your loved one with the unique displays she creates.
