Proudly serving the Thunder Bay area, Sunset Memorial Gardens will help you customize your arrangements, while respecting your faith, taste and budget. You can feel confident putting your trust in our compassionate professionals.
Our 279 tranquil acres, surrounded by forest, provides an intimate nature setting in city limits. In 1979 Sunset was the first cemetery to include a Mausoleum, followed by an on-site crematorium in 1989.
A shuttle service to the cemetery is a phone call away for those of you with limited access. A representative will pick you up from your home any time you want to visit.
We are proud to be a part of this community. Our helpful, dedicated staff are passionate about supporting families, local associations, religious organizations and cultural groups, and we are honoured to host a series of free memorial events throughout the year.
