Obituary Overview

Barry Moore

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Barry Moore, who passed away suddenly on June 1st, 2020. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 30 years Lois (Carter) Moore; daughter Shelly (Marcel) LeBlanc; son Rick Matchett; beloved grandchildren Emma and Noah who he adored, they loved spending time with their Grand Dad. Barry is also survived by his brothers Terry (Pat), Brian, Gerard (Fran); sisters Leonie (George) Griffin and Marlene; as well as several nieces and nephews, friends, and colleagues. He is predeceased by his parents Harry and Annie Mae Moore.
Barry was a very dedicated man in everything that came his way, especially when it came to his family. He was always willing to volunteer and lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.
Barry spent over 40 years working for Co-op Atlantic, and upon retirement he took a position with APHL Enterprise where he became Director of Property Management.
He lived and breathed for his favourite sport of racquetball. He was involved in all aspects of the game from playing, coaching, and volunteering his time in positions such as the President of Racquetball New Brunswick and Vice President of Racquetball Canada. Barry spent countless hours promoting the sport he loved, and he was always looking for a game!
