I would like to extend my sincere condolences to Lois and family on Barry's recent death. The world is certainly not as bright as it was with his passing.
Barry and I were loosely connected through the grocery industry but joined at the hip through the sport of racquetball. I know for sure he was the face of racquetball NB for as long as I remember.
I hadn't seen Barry since 2002 but friendship is never measured in the number of encounters so his leaving us so suddenly simply reinforces the concept we should see people that are important to us as often as is possible.
I will miss his gentle demeanor and trademark smile.
God bless!

Hi Lois. My deepest condolences for your loss. Barry was a great guy. Even though I knew him at CA (business, volleyball, social, etc), I really got to know him and enjoy his company through our relationship at APHL and PJWM. When I attended the Conference in Fredericton with him last year, it was very obvious the respect he garnered from the Housing Industry people in the Province. He will be missed by all of us at APHL, and the Industry as a whole.
I wish you and your family, all the best going forward. And of course the dog (he told me the story ;-)
God bless
Greg
