In Loving Memory of Laura Regimbal



On Tuesday, December 14, 2021, Laura Regimbal passed away peacefully at Faubourg du Mascaret in Moncton, NB. Laura was 78 years old.
Laura is survived by; Her husband of 59 years Richard Regimbal of Moncton; Her daughter Angela Wood of Moncton, son Michael Regimbal (Susan) of Victoria BC and siblings; Rev. Cecil and Shirley Symes of St. Marie de Kent, NB. She was preceded in death by Edith and Arthur Symes of Emerson, Brothers Earl and Wayne, Sisters Phyllis, Olive, Linda and Carol. Laura was sister-in-law to Gilles Regimbal (Edith) and Vivian Brooks, Grandmother to Mitchell, Nicole, Arielle and John, Great Grandmother to Olivia, Jonah, Avery, Shayla and Levon. Laura was born on March 5, 1943 in Fords Mills, NB.
Laura married Richard in Moncton in 1962 when Richard was stationed at H.M.C.S. Coverdale with the Navy. They welcomed Michael in 1964 and Angela in 1965. Laura traveled Canada extensively with Richard and the children as Richard pursued his 32 year Naval career. Laura served the public as a stylist for more than 50 years in almost every province and territory in Canada. Laura was a talented and beloved entertainer. She played guitar, fiddle and piano and sang our favorite folk songs from age 16. We will miss her wit, generosity and joie-de-vivre.
 A celebration of life for Laura will be announced in early 2022 to take place in Spring 2022. The family asks that donations be made to your favorite charity in lieu of flowers.

To Richard, Michael, Angela, Family Members & Friends, The members of the Canadian Forces Supplementary Radio (SUPRAD) System Oldtimers Association were saddened by the news of Laura's passing. Those who served with Dick and Laura, during their 32 years of military service, will forever cherish the memories of all the enjoyable times that were shared. Laura's love of life and her many talents as an entertainer made their mark on many of us.
