View MorePassed away at home Friday, October 7, 2022, in his 71st year. Predeceased by his parents Grant and May Bone of Amherstburg and parents-in-law Elmer and Margaret Williams. Loving husband of Linda (nee Williams). Dear father of James (Karen) of Ottawa and Jerry of London. Special grandfather of Kerry Duncan of London. Also survived by brother Robert (Kimmy) of Slidell, Louisiana and brothers and sisters in law Janet (late Jack), Fred & Joyce, David & Cindy. Missed by many nieces and nephews in Canada and the USA.
Cyril was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and hunting with his sons, and could often be found on the shores of the Maitland River. He was an enthusiastic hockey dad and die-hard member of the Leafs Nation. He also loved travelling coast to coast on his motorcycles, finishing up with a long-desired Harley Davidson. Cyril was a grateful organ transplant recipient and encouraged other people to consider the gift of organ donation. Cyril was grateful for the friendship and support of the friends of Bill W.
Relatives and friends will be received on Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 2-3pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1997 Dundas Street, London where a funeral service will be held at 3:00pm. Cremation to follow with interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
