Peacefully at the H.J. McFarland Memorial Home in Picton, on Monday December 11, in her 92nd year. Predeceased by her beloved husband John, and her 4 sons; Greg, Wayne, Jim and Stanley. Loving mother of Cheryl (Joe Lightfoot), and Cherished grandmother of Tracy, Stephen, Jessica, Jeremy, Robyn, Carrie, Shaun, Donna and Shawn, and her 12 great-grandchildren. She will be missed by her daughters-in law.
The family will receive friends for a visitation at the Township Chapel of the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Homes, 435 Davis Drive (Centennial at Taylor-Kidd) on Thursday from noon-1 p.m. A funeral service in Celebration of her life will be held in our chapel at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations, for those wishing, may be made to Prostate Cancer.

She was the picture of what endurence looked like. I loved her sense of humor and her love of family and life. I will miss her and will remember her always.
