Dear Kate and Deke, There is something especially tragic in losing a sibling. Brothers and sisters are our first playmates and they bring to mind our younger selves and a wealth of precious childhood memories. And that's maybe that's where Rod will live on for you. My thoughts are with you.

As Viv's older sister, I remember meeting Rod sooooo long ago and recognized the love they had for each other through many trials and tribulations as well as good times. That love spread to Allison then to Mike and of course, Ella. A small but tight family! I remember Rod as a music officiando and an determined and opinionated thinker. He was passionate about many things !!! We shared may games of darts, many family functions and many good meals that he created. He would be very happy to know that Viv , Allie , Mike and Ella will lead a good life surrounded by close family and friends. They will remember him always. Love Fran

Dear Vivian and family, So very sorry to hear the news of Roddy's passing. I have many fond memories of cousin Rod as we were growing up and visiting back and forth. I especially recall your wedding day. It was great to see Rod at Ruth's 100th birthday gathering. As we are in Alberta now, we will be not be able to attend Saturday's service but we will raise a glass in Rod's honour and listen to some serious guitar music!
