It is with broken hearts, that we announce that our loving mother Ann went to be with her Lord on Tuesday April 18, 2023. Ann is predeceased by her loving husband Hein, who was the light of her life for 51 years. Loving mother of Albert (Thelma), Dorothy (Sam), Judy Ann and Jacqueline. Adored Beppa to Leanne, Tayler, Simon and Sheldon. Ann will be missed by many extended family, including her sister Gret (Friesland), Bert, Sylvia, and Eda and predeceased by Dan and Shawn, and a host of other friends and relatives.
Ann will also be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her coffee social friends. Ann gave selflessly of her time and was never too tired to help a friend or stranger. Ann was a devoted member of the Christian Reformed Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir.
Ann loved flowers, but she requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation Many thanks to the hospital staff in the Stroke Unit at Brampton Civic Hospital.
Friends and family will be received for visitation on Sunday April 23, 2023 from 2:00-5:00 at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home & Cemetery, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville
A memorial service will be held on Monday April 24, 2023 at 1:00pm at Holland Christian Homes, 7900 McLaughlin Rd S., Brampton in the Heritage Hall. Reception to follow in the Horizon Hall
