Obituary Overview

Forever In Our Hearts

The world has lost a wonderful woman, but heaven gained one! Edna Lourdes Beluso Icamina passed away last April 29, 2023 at the age of 87. She was a devoted wife to her husband Ciriaco (deceased), and a loving mother to Roses (married to Johnny), Cherry, Daisy (married to Orlando), Joseph (married to Ma. Luisa), and Jonas (deceased). She was blessed with 14 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren, all of whom she loved so dearly and have supported them in all their endeavors.

Edna was a kind, thoughtful, and generous woman. She gave freely without asking for anything in return, and she was very happy when the mission of giving was accomplished. She remembered all the birthdays of family and friends and she was always the first to call or send a greeting card. She was also a woman of faith, not just in God, but she has faith in people. She was never one to tell you what to do because she truly believed in you. Edna was strong and resilient, surviving the Second World War, multiple pregnancies, three open heart surgeries, a leg fracture in her later years, and even survived pandemic illness. She was a strong woman of faith as a Carmelite member of the Catholic Church, a community healer serving her community as a pharmacist, and an avid fan of the Toronto Blue Jays, Raptors, and Maple Leafs. More than anything, she was an exemplary caretaker, a loving mother and grandmother, and a beautiful person in and out. Edna will forever be remembered and cherished by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives, and friends.
