It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Edward “Ed/ Eddie” Grzenda on Friday March 10th, 2023 at the young age of 67. He leaves behind his beloved wife Donna of 43 years. Loving father to Mark and David (Paula) and adoring grandfather to Emily. He will be missed by his extended family including sisters Linda (Dennis), Anna (Brian) and Carrie (Mike) and his cherished nieces and nephews. Ed will also be terribly missed by his dogs Mila and Holly. Ed always took on projects and enjoyed fixing anything he could himself. He was always the first one his sons would call for any help or advice. Ed loved cars, often spending his time cleaning and maintaining his mustang and enjoyed going to car shows with his sons. He was a proud member of his local mustang club. Ed was selfless in his love and devotion to his family and will be deeply missed.
Friends will be received from 11:30am to 1:00pm on Sunday March 19th 2023 at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home & Cemetery, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville. Followed by a private celebration of life for the family.

It was great to know and work next to Ed for five years in De Havilland. So many wonderful memories.
It is very sad to hear about Ed’s passing. My deepest condolences to Grzenda family and all friends.
Rest in piece friend.
Truly emotional to find the best words to express our family’s heartfelt sense of loss and how much we thought of our dearest neighbour “Ed”.
From day one, some 26 years ago, Ed always made time for all of us, Ed always had a kind word, gave thoughtful advice, lended a helping hand and brightened our day with his wonderful smile.
Each and every moment shared was genuinely a delight - he made a wonderful impression on all of our extended family as well; especially, my late father in law who thought the world of him…they are together now.
Ed played many positive roles in our family and impacted all of us in wonderfully genuine ways he wouldn’t have known. To me ~ he was simply the best!
He was the foundation ~ our rock ~ on an amazing street wherein which each and every neighbour thought highly of Ed, including his kindness, gentle nature, and neighbourhood renowned best landscape.
To our Dearest Donna, Mark and David - We have lived alongside the best neighbours we could have ever have hoped for ~ Please accept our most sincerest condolences at this time.
You have our deepest sympathy and unwavering support. We wish you peace, comfort, courage, and lots of love at this time of sorrow. Our heart goes out to you and the entire family…
With Love and Respect,
Mike, Cinzia, Alexandria and Mikey.
