It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Harrison Robert Jacob Reimer on Sunday, October 21, 2018 in Waterloo, ON at the young age of 19. Beloved and cherished only son of Harold and Natalie (nee Quan) Reimer. Adored older brother of sister, Madison. Loving grandson of Robert and Shirley Quan of Mississauga, ON, and Jake and (late) Irene Reimer of Winnipeg, MB. Cherished nephew of Brad Quan and Cathy Yau, Robert Reimer and Alison Thiessen, and Eleanor Reimer. Devoted cousin of Trinity Quan, and Dasha and Vanya Reimer. Harrison will be deeply missed by his extended family and friends from Wilfrid Laurier University (Waterloo) and T A Blakelock High School (Oakville). Harrison was a hardworking and bright student who entertained friends and family with his quick sense of humour and mature view of life. Visitation will be held at Glen Oaks Funeral Home, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville (at Dundas St.) 905-257-8822 on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Glen Abbey United Church, 1469 Nottinghill Gate, Oakville, where Harrison was baptized as a baby . Reception to follow in the gym. Private family burial will take place following the reception at Glen Oaks Cemetery. Natalie, I am deeply saddened and shocked to learn about the loss of your son, Harrison. I can still remember how excited you were when you were pregnant with him and I took over your job as you went on maternity leave. May you and your family find strength at this difficult time and hold onto all the cherished memories.
