With heavy hearts, we share the profound loss of our beloved Jennifer Dawn Comyn, who peacefully passed away on May 4th, 2023, at the age of 49. She was the cherished wife of Stephane Angers and the loving mother of Jason, Annik, and Kevin Angers.
Jennifer leaves behind a legacy of love and treasured memories that will forever be etched in our hearts. She will be deeply missed by her parents, Jeanne and Malcolm Comyn, and her brother Graeme Comyn (Christine Stewart), who held her close with unwavering affection. Jennifer's absence will also be keenly felt by her father-in-law, Paul-Henri Angers (Monique Deblois, who passed away in 2009), her brothers-in-law Frederic Angers (Amélie Jean) and Jean-Sébastien Angers (Nancy Fullerton), as well as numerous nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Jennifer pursued her passion for physical therapy at McGill University, where she crossed paths with her future husband. She dedicated several years to her work in rehabilitation at Credit Valley Hospital, touching the lives of countless patients with her compassion and expertise.
Known for her gentle spirit and quiet reserve, Jennifer possessed a smile that could effortlessly illuminate any room. Her extraordinary circle of friends held a special place in her heart, providing her with unwavering support and shared laughter throughout her life's journey. Jennifer's greatest joy, however, was found in her role as a mother. She was a shining example of love and guidance, instilling in her children the values of kindness, tolerance, and hard work that will continue to shape their lives.
The family would like to express heartfelt gratitude for the incredible care and kindness provided by the nurses and doctors at Princess Margaret and Credit Valley Hospitals, as well as the unwavering support from CarePartners and Livewell Pathway.
A celebration of Jennifer's life will take place at Glen Oaks Funeral Home (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, ON L6H 7A8) on Friday, May 12, from 5 PM to 7 PM. We invite all family members, friends, and those whose lives were touched by Jennifer to join us in commemorating her remarkable journey and bidding her a heartfelt farewell.
