After serving his country with honor and distinction in the Indian military, he joined his family on a move to Canada in search of a better life. His determination and unwavering spirit were a testament to his character.
Santokh Singh was the beloved husband of Gian Kaur, his soulmate and partner in life. He was a cherished father to four children: Ranjit Kaur Nagra, the Late Harvinder Kaur Birring, Manjit Kaur Pahal, and Avtar Singh Kooner. Grandfather to Harpreet Singh Nagra, Sukhchain Singh Nagra, Manmeet Kaur Randhawa, Inderjit Singh Birring, Kamaldeep Singh Birring, Varinder Singh Pahal, Raman Kaur Pahal, Sukhdeep Singh Kooner, and Jasleen Kaur Kooner. Great Grandfather to Sukhpreet Singh Nagra, Gursahib Singh Nagra, Avaleen Kaur Nagra, Sumar Kaur Nagra, Jasmiya Kaur Randhawa, and Jagrai Singh Randhawa.
He was a source of inspiration and guidance to his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, imparting valuable life lessons that will continue to shape their paths. His presence in their lives will forever be cherished and missed. He adored his grandchildren and took immense joy in watching them grow. His love and wisdom will remain in their hearts as they navigate life's journey.
Beyond his military service and family, Santokh Singh found solace in the simplest pleasures of life. He enjoyed spending time with his loved ones, cherishing family gatherings filled with laughter and love. Whether it was a leisurely walk in the park or embracing the beauty of nature in rain or shine, Santokh Singh cherished every moment spent with his family.
Santokh Singh was a devoted follower of Sikhism, dedicating an abundance of time practicing the teachings of the Guru Granth Sahib. He found peace in his prayers and was incredibly proud of his culture and religion. He found incredible joy teaching Punjabi, sharing the upbringing of Sikhi, and sharing stories of his life to his family.
