Mary & John It's hard to believe it's been just over a year since your dad passed away. May it comfort you knowing he's waiting with outstretched arms at the gates of heaven to welcome home the love of his life. Your mom truly was one of my favourite ladies in our community. She had such a peaceful aura about her that was always so comforting to be around. I feel blessed to have known such a warm, compassionate and beautiful soul. My heartfelt condolences to your entire family. Pocivala u Bozijem miru.

Mary, my deepest sympathies to you & your family for the loss of your dear mother & grandmother. Although I only met her the once when she was going through the sorrow of losing your Dad it was very easy to see that she was a very special lady. I hope you will find comfort in the thought that they will now be joined together once again in eternal peace, safe in the arms of Jesus. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Slavka was an amazing woman, always there with a helping hand, always giving of her time especially at the Croatian Center in Norval where for many years we worked together in the "Zensko Drustvo" organizing fund raisers, piknics and so many other worthwhile causes. Although in recent years, with advancing age and health issues, we saw much less of each other, her sunny smile and kindness will never be forgotten. Our deepest condolences to her family. May she rest in eternal peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Kathy & Filko Nosic with family.

It’s hard to believe that our dear Slavka has gone! Mary and John, my heart and prayers are with you as you mourn the loss of your sweet mother. I know that she and your Dad are looking down from heaven at you, and your families, with much love and many blessings for having been so loving and caring to both of them. Although Slavka and Mike moved away from Johnson Crescent, their kind and generous presence here will be felt forever by the beautiful memories left behind. Delicious cookies, apple strudel and oven-baked chicken were treats that Slavka would generously drop off at many of our homes. And, if those weren’t enough, the hand-knitted slippers that she made, were there to warm you on cold winter evenings! Most important to me was knowing that, on her long walks, Slavka would pray for all of us on her rosary beads. Although I miss her presence here, I know that Slavka's kind and generous ways have earned her a place right in Jesus’ heart where she will rest in peace.
