Obituary Overview

Forever in our hearts

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear father and grandfather, Prof. Dr. Stanislav Pejović on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at the age of 87.

He was born on March 22, 1933 in Belgrade, Serbia, as the second son of Dr. Tadija and Dr. Ljubica (Vučković) Pejović. Stanislav spent most of his adult life living in Belgrade and traveling the world. In 1997, he moved to Canada to join his daughters and grandchildren, where he spent the later part of his life.

Daughter Ana, grandsons Mihailo, Luka and Marko and son-in-laws Dejan and Radivoje, will lovingly and forever remember their dad, grandpa and father-in-law and his support, love and compassion. His easy nature, broad smile and great sense of humor, as well as immense love for life, food and good company will be greatly missed by his many friends in both Canada and Serbia.

Dr. Pejovic was a Professor Emeritus at the University of Belgrade, where he was the Head of the Hydraulic Energy Group. He was a Visiting Professor at the University of Singapore, and a part-time Professor at both the University of Toronto and Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. He was an International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) expert in ICC Arbitration, and was a researcher and consultant on various aspects of electric plants.
