James (Jim) Albert Douglas Patterson

06-Mar-1965 - 13-Nov-2021

Obituary Overview

In Loving Memory

James (Jim) Albert Douglas Patterson was taken from us on November 13, while enjoying one of his favourite pastimes.
Jim is survived by his devoted wife of 29 years Andrea, daughter Amanda and son James (Sheena), brothers Bruce (Betty Ann), Terry (Lilly), numerous nieces, nephews, and grand niece. Also mourning Jim’s passing are his father-in-law Don Omar, sister-in-law Kim Omar, and nanny-in-law Vera Denby. Surrounding Andrea and her family are many dear aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Jim was predeceased by his parents Terry and Belle Ann Patterson, his mother-in-law Christine Omar, and very close uncles, aunts and cousins.
Family and friends whether new or old were the center of Jim’s life. Jim was known for providing a quick wit, hospitality, and warmth to all around, and even an opinion or two. Over the next coming weeks and longer, Jim knows we will be grieving, but he would remind us we are all family at heart and to take this journey together, and not be afraid to have a laugh, and celebrate his life as we move forward.

A Funeral service for Jim will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at Glenwood Funeral Home, 52356 Range Road 232, Sherwood Park, AB. All attendees are required to observe the Alberta’s Restriction Exemption Program ; proof of double vaccination.
