Mrs. Hoole is an amazing woman and quite passionate about youth empowerment. When I was a kid, she used to make sure all of us made it to church even on the days we didn't want to go because she believed the values that we retained over the years would help us mature and make decisions throughout our lives. Although I haven't seen Mrs. Hoole in years, I know that she contributed greatly to my upbringing and will forever be thankful to her. She gave me my first English dictionary as a kid when she found out that I didn't have one. She also gave me an Atlas and my love for reading and everything about that Atlas peaked my interest in the sciences. Words alone cannot express her warm beautiful heart. I love her for everything she is and may her sweet sweet soul rest in peace.
A caring mother, grandmother and friend, Gladys Hoole was known and loved by members of her church and community, alike. She taught two generations of children at Sunday School and related youth activities. Gladys served as Trustee and Board Member at Bloor Lansdowne Christian Fellowship, being involved in the guidance and direction of the church over the past dozen years. She will be dearly missed by those of us who had the honour to know her and count her as our friend.
