Herb, I send my deepest sympathy to you on your loss. I met Joan @ The Lighthouse sat. morning meeting, and was scared to death, until I got to know her. She was one of the kindest, most knowledgeable woman I had ever met.
Back in the day, we all had so much fun, and she could always be the life of the party!
Joan was a force to be reckoned with. Her passion for life was infectious and she easily carried any room she walked into. Herb, the two of you have had so many wonderful experiences together. We should all be so lucky.
Herb and family, my sincere condolences. I met Joan through business and quickly felt a connection to her. I always enjoyed my chats with Joan, she was vibrant, inspiring, full of wisdom and kind. Joan touched my life and she will be missed dearly. Rest In Peace Ms Joan xo

Greetings Herb, I thank you so very much for sharing this beautiful portrait of Joan's life including yours together.
I have always asked about Joan because you talked so graciously about her that I felt as though I knew her.
My condolences to both families.
I first met Joan at The Parkway Group in 1995 and she scared the bejeebers out of me, so I had to find out why. Joan and Herb, you have both been wonderful mentors and I wish you both continued love. XOXOXO
I remember very vividly meeting Joan in 1987 at the Saturday morning discussion group at The Lighthouse.
She came into...more like sashayed into the room with much flair. She had on a huge hat to go with her humungous glasses...I knew right away she was a force to be reckoned with. What a character she was!!
Joan impacted the lives of many of us. ....always there with the helping hand, telling her travel stories with flair and gusto.
I will miss our regular phone chats, her wide smile and gutsy laugh...I feel blessed to have known this wonderful woman.!
Herb
