In Loving Memory

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, on October 16, 2021, at the young age of 98. He is now reunited with the love of his life Georgina Mallett (Deslippe, 2001). John is predeceased by his parents George (1947) and Isabel (Auld, 1963) and his sister Patricia Gunn (2015) (Red, 2009). He was the son-in-law of Blanche Deslippe (1968) and Norman Deslippe (1971). Survived by sister-in law Dolly Deslippe (Garnet, 2015) and June Bolton (Julien Deslippe, 2014). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. John was a great friend to Francis and Sammy Minos. He developed numerous friendships throughout the decades.
John was a proud Canadian Veteran who served in WW2 with the RCR First Regiment. John A. Mallett

Goodbye my family, my life has passed.
I've loved you all to the very last.
Weep not for me, but courage take.
Love each other for my sake.
For those you love don't go away
They walk beside you every day.
