Our deepest sympathy and condolences on behalf of the Association and its members. In memory of James, a donation has been made to the Dementia Society of Ottawa & Renfrew County.
I would like to express my condolences to Jackie and family. Jim was a character, always ready with a laugh. I would start to tell him a joke and he would start laughing before he even heard the punch line. Jackie will understand when
i say Jim had his own very special version of steel toed boots. i hope this brought a smile to your face in this very sad time.

Jackie, Lorena and Family, please accept our sincerest condolences. Over the last few years we had an opportunity to get to know Jim, who made a great summer neighbour at the lake. I had the pleasure of hearing some of Jim’s favourite stories from the department, as well as hearing about some of his motorcycle and adventures he had with Jackie. You’ll be missed Sir, Heaven has another musician!!
Jackie Lorena and family Please accept my deepest sympathy on the passing of a great man and friend. I had the pleasure of working with him for many years and he was fantastic leader. He leaves us with lots of great memories. Be assured that he is Flying with Angels. R. I.P. my freind
My first captain, a great friend miss his humour! A quick story who some will remember, New Year’s Eve we get a call to Bayshore alarm’s ringing, up in penthouse where a big crowd is gathered. We silence alarm and with Scrivs leading we each grab a lady and have a dance with our turnout gear on!, Only Jim could pull this off! Hope to see ya in hillbilly heaven someday my friend, Jammer
