Sorry to hear of Jean Paul’s passing. He was a friend of mine when he was stationed in Gander NL, in the sixties. A beautiful soul and kind hearted man who was admired by all.
Sympathies to the family, and God Bless his soul

Jean Paul was a true troubadour at heart. Always ready to share his gift of music through guitar. He was an adventurous soul and Franciscan witness along with Rose to those around them. Rest in peace Jean Paul with your beloved Rose.

Jean-Paul was my formation director many years ago. His gentle, franciscan spirit was instrumental in my formation. During our Days of Awareness prison ministry visits at Joyceville, I was always struck by how comfortable he was, smiling constantly as he connected with friends. He truly embodied the franciscan ideals of love, humility and simplicity. My very favourite saying that he often offered: "Money has no value; it only has uses." We have lost a truly wonderful man, and I am praying for the family, that God send his Spirit to comfort and encourage you.
