My dear godfather and uncle will always have a cherished place in my heart. I will fondly remember hime for his love, encouragement, and music that he shared throughout my life. He has touched the lives of countless people through his selfless caring, music and ministries. May you find comfort in your special memories and may Christ welcome him to eternal glory.
I am the oldest daughter of the late John and Estelle Dugas. My husband Gordon and I wish to pass along our deepest Sympathies to you at this time. Being the very first Granddaughter of our Grandparents Emile & Juliette Dugas, I had the privilege of spending a number of summers in Montreal with them. During this time, your Parents were dating along with Aunt Gabye and Uncle Jacques. Your Mom being a Nurse in her Nurses Uniform, coming home from work, and your Dad, on occasion, in his Military Uniform, stopping by to pick her up for a date. I watched all this from the eyes of a 10 year old child and loved how much they were in love with each other and soon would be married. Your Dad was a great guy with a warm smile. I know how much he loved your Mother and now, they can be together again for eternity. Rest in Peace and God's blessings to you all. Affectionately, Diane
My condolences to the family and friends of Jean-Paul. I have fond memories of Jean-Paul and Rose-Marie at our regional Franciscan gatherings. I always loved it when the troubadour, Jean-Paul, lead us in music and song. He was my inspiration to take up the guitar and sing. Jean-Paul and Rose-Marie lived their Franciscan calling and were an inspiration to many. Rest in peace, and thanks for the memories.
