I found Dr. Abunassar's obituary in the Royal College newsletter and wanted to express my condolences. Dr. Abunassar looked after my father for decades and when I contacted him as a physician to ask about my risks related to my father's condition, he responded quickly and was very helpful. I know my father liked him very much, even though regular colonoscopies are not fun, Dr. Abunassar made them as easy as possible for the patients. Having lost both parents myself, I wanted to add a note from someone whose life he touched indirectly but very positively.
