Jacques Joseph Philippe Chauvin

Jacques Joseph Philippe Chauvin passed away peacefully on May 31, 2020 in Calgary, AB at the age of 80 years.
Jacques is lovingly remembered by Susan, his wife of 42 years; his two sons Zachary and Ian; their spouses Lara and Robyn; and his grandchildren Atom, Sarah, Cato, Nicholas, and Aurelia.
Jacques is also survived by daughters Bernice and Patricia; sons Marcel and Dennis; sisters Angeline, Huguette, and Denise; 8 additional grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his son Marc.Jacques' strength of character and calming presence was always a reassuring force in the household. He had a great appreciation for the outdoors and expressed himself beautifully in the form of pastoral paintings which his family will continue to cherish. His artworks demonstrated a natural intellect and unique perception on
life. They are a testament to the legacy of a great man and shall always impart inspiration and remembrance to his family and friends.
Due to the pandemic, a celebration of his life will be held at a future date.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made on his behalf to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
