My condolences to your family. I worked with Ron several times in the past 10 years. I always enjoyed our talks - and hearing the pride in Ron’s voice when he spoke about his family and his work with Rotary. He will be missed.

I was privileged to know Ron for most of my business career, starting with working with him in the Gulf Canada HR department in the good old days. We worked closely together on the Board and many conference events at HRAC over the years. We were colleagues for decades and shared office space for over 5 years and some of my fondest memories with him were eating dinner at the Chuckwagon barns during at the Stampede. He was a very fine, hardworking and charitable man who always had a happy smile and a quick wit. I am pleased that I knew him for several decades and
am sure he is still smiling down on us.

wow !! i can’t believe it ... I dreamed about him 2 nights ago . We were all together traveling and he was there supporting us and taking care of us ( as he always did ). This is a very sad news 😕, and mostly because I couldn’t see him again when I went back to Canada . However , I’m pretty sure now we will have a guardian angel looking after all of us !! 💔

He was a very good man , always with that contagious huge smile. When I had bad times while I was an exchange student he was always there for me . We had so many good times with him and those memories will be always in my heart.

we love u Uncle Ron as we used to call him .❤️

Ron was my landlord for 9 years and was such a kind and caring man. I remember he was always involved with Rotary and usually had exchange students with him. He would send my husband & I edible arrangements at Christmas and a card thanking us for being great tentants. He was always so nice to my family. So sad

Ron recruited me for the CAO position at the Town of High River back in 2008, then he helped me fill several senior positions on the Town staff. Working with him was a collegial experience from the very first conversation. He had a wonderful way of making an interview an enjoyable opportunity rather than a harrowing hurdle. He lived the 4 Way Test every day.

My sympathy and prayers are extended to family, friends and Rotarian colleagues.
