Hey anne marie,I know it is 2 years and a bit.but not a day goes by and i dont talk of your late husband, the way he was,i was always around late mr Hamilton and one day if you recall, in front of his photo class,Timothy Eaton. He introduced you to me,1991,you two joked about the bob Marley concert ,maple leaf gardens. Mr Hamilton said paul, this is my sweetheart anne marie, he said dear do you recall at the concert ,we looked to the left and rastas,we look to the right and what we see rastas, right honey ,you smiled while he put his arm around you. saying paul did not believe me,you said its true laughing,he said see yout, as he would jokingly call me,then he said I like alot of people ,but Paul is one of my favorites. every day after school ,he will come into my class and I'll play bob Marley and other music too .we as well reasoned about many topics.there is so much things I have told my grandmother and mother about mr Hamilton, that's it's so vast, he was there for me during some of my most difficult times. in Timothy eaton and he would always take up for me ,I refused to play for black history, angry of blacks negativity. He said Paul mr norris and I are depending on you.only you play reggae.i know you paul ,your good . Mr Hamilton, puts me in the Scarborough mirror, what a good man.. .anne marie,he lives in me I still shed tears, thank you .for sharing him with me.i have never seen a tech teacher as this .so amazing, so informed, one love ,paul spaulding.

Jim was one of my favourite people in the whole wide world. He was the most genuine person that I have ever met. He never tried to be someone he wasn’t. In spite of his physical challenges, he always had time to listen to others and show support. He really care about others. And, he did this with his wonderful sense of humour and was able to laugh at himself and his predicaments. He was one of a kind. I am very grateful for all of the conversations I had with him over the past 42 years.

When I first met Mr Hamilton I was afraid of him. However after our first conversation I realized he was just a gentle giant. We bonded over our taste in music and his corny "dad" jokes. He always made me feel welcomed in his home and he always had some sorta cool fact to tell me. I remember one time he helped me fix my computer. I recall being so impressed that a man that was 40 years older than me that had no business knowing anything about computers was able to help me. Whenever I saw Mr Hamilton he was always jamming away on one of his awesome guitars, which I always thought was so cool. Oh and he rode motorcycles! How incredibly cool is that?!
Basically I thought Mr Hamilton was the epitome of cool and I will miss him dearly.

My condolences to the Hamilton family.

You're in my thoughts.
