It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce that Glenn passed away on December 15, 2021 at the age of 63 after a long battle with Cancer. He passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home surrounded with love. Son of the late Anne and Frank Broadley, Glenn will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 39 years Kim, his younger brother Ian (Tracey), sisters-in-law Lori (Bob), Wendy (Bob) brother-in-law Mark and mother-in-law Marion. Loving uncle to Carly (Kurt), Amanda (Andrew), Cameron (Kayla), Myles (Savannah), Bethany, Amanda (Brody), Braydon and Kyle. Grunkle Glenn to Nathan, Eli, Sage, River and Ember.
Born in Toronto, Glenn was a dreamer. He was an entrepreneur. He had a passion for sales, merchandising and product development. He found his niche in developing and marketing non-alcoholic beverages. He was Co-Founder of Hill Street Marketing and Creator of MADD Virgin Drinks and Designated Draft. Glenn’s most recent endeavour was Co-Founder of Grüvi Beverages.
Glenn was a boxer in his teenage years but the greatest fight of his life began in June 2013 when he was diagnosed with Stomach Cancer. He got knocked down but got back up. In June of 2020, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Liver Cancer. Glenn fought this next round for a long 17 months. He was strong and positive throughout his fight. It was a fight he fought with grace and dignity. Always saying he was a lucky guy. That positivity was how he lived his life right up to the end.
Glenn was a great husband, brother, brother-in-law, son-in-law, uncle, ‘grunkle’ and friend. Nothing brought him greater joy in life than spending time with his family and friends. He was a proud Alumnus of Neil McNeil High School and had many friends he was still in touch with until his passing.
Glenn’s kindness, caring and sense of humour will be missed.
The family would like to thank the great doctors and nurses at Michael Garron Hospital, especially Dr. Carmine Simone, thoracic surgeon, who saved Glenn’s life 8 years ago.
Thank you also to the great doctors and nurses at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre where Glenn received treatment this past year.
A special thank you to his nurse Lindsay from Saint Elizabeth Healthcare (SE Health) who’s compassion and reassuring presence during the last year and a half was always comforting.
In keeping with Glenn’s wishes, there will be a celebration of life for immediate family members in the Spring at his cremation niche at Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens.
Forever in our hearts.
Condolences from family and friends

Hi Kim and family, I am very sorry for your loss. I became friends with Glenn over the past 5 or so years as we crossed paths in business circles. I had the pleasure of hosting Glenn at Pelee Island Winery on more than one occasion. Glenn's energy, enthusiasm and friendly demeanour were instant magnetism for me. We connected and shared many ideas together that unfortunately never came to fruition. That said, I wanted to wish you all well and say that I really appreciated the time I spent getting to know Glenn. He spoke very proud of his friends and family and I always will consider him a man of high character.
