Thinking of you and your family at this difficult time. I’ll remember Jerry for his love of children and support and friendship he has given to my parents. Both of my colicky children were always calmed when he held them! Sending my sincere condolences, Jen.

I am truly sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences. I hope the Goldhar family find comfort and strength in Jesus promise along with our heavenly father Jehovah of the earthly resurrection found at John 5:28, 29, when death will be eliminated forever found at Revelations 21:4. Truly, what a glorious and almost unbelievable day that will be! It's a reality though for God cannot lie!

Gillian and I extend our condolences to the Goldhar family on the passing of our friend Lion Jerry. We were informed of Lion Jerry's illness at the funeral of another Lion, but missed Jerry at the hospital as he had been moved. Our contact with Lion Jerry was always brief at Lions meetings, but over the many years, and in many places, it was always refreshing and informing. His large heart for his community, especially the children, was evident from when we first met. We would chuckle at the formality and protocol of an 'official' meeting. And Jerry would point out the lack of common sense of some of the proceedings. However, he took great interest in our Lions Quest programs for school children and in the children who needed to attend Lions Camp Kirk. Even in our brief encounters, he was a light that will now be missed by all the Lions who came to know him.

I send my condolences to Jerry’s family. I remember Jerry fondly from his years at Durham CAS. He was a terrific lawyer and I learned a lot from him when I started to practice in Durham Region. It is not hyperbole to say that he taught me much of what I know about child protection law. I also appreciated his sharp wit, which he shared regularly over many lunches. Jerry was my friend, and although we had not spoken since his retirement, I am sorry to hear that he has passed.
