Obituary Overview

In Loving Memory

Linda Blair Wyllie
November 18, 1960 - August 5, 2019

Linda Blair Wyllie died tragically in a car accident on Monday, August 5, 2019 at the age of 58.

Linda was the beloved wife of of David Wyllie and loving mother of Shaun and Alanna. Also mourning her loss are her brother Robert (wife Aura and children Sebastian, Natalia and David) and sister Kathy (husband James Bird, children Hannah and Ryan).

Linda grew up in Pickering, Ontario. She graduated from Waterloo University with a Bachelor of Mathematics degree and was a Chartered Professional Accountant. She worked incredibly hard for the Ministry of Transportation for most of her life. Linda was months away from a well-deserved retirement after working at the Ministry for 32 years. After retiring, she planned to volunteer as she was passionate about helping others and advocating for rights. She was also always up for a political discussion.

Linda met Dave in 1991 at her friend’s wedding; she was the maid of honour and Dave was the groom’s brother. They formed an instant connection, and were married in 1994. She was a dedicated and loving wife and mother and was actively involved and supportive in both of her children’s lives.

Linda was also dedicated to her friends and will be greatly missed by her many friends and colleagues.

Memorial donations may be directed to a favorite charity of Linda's: Bethlehem Housing and Support Services.
