The Bell family wish to convey our heartfelt condolences and sorrow to Jo, Mark, Tara and families on the passing of Pete. It is said that people come into your life for a reason. We are so thankful that Pete was in ours. We moved onto Cockburn Drive in 1984 and were fortunate enough to have Pete and Jo as next door neighbours. He was a gentleman through and through with a dry sense of humour and vast knowledge of unusual subjects. His was truly respected by many in our neighbourhood. As many have already said we share in the fond memories of this wonderful man that we were so lucky to call a friend. Rest in peace Pete. You will be missed.

Our deepest sympathy in your loss of Peter, many fond memories of working together in 51 division.
Peter and myself often talked about our home towns Peter from Southampton and myself from Gosport just along the coast.
He was soft spoken and always a gentleman.

Photo is of Pete with his brothers Christopher (me) and Francis (Frank) at Owen Road, Eastleigh, England in 1948 approx, which was Pete's home until emigrating to Canada in the 60s. As you can see there is a large age gap between Pete and his brothers, and I'm sure we were real pests when we were very young. No wonder he left for Canada!

We are truly sad to learn that Peter has passed away. I was fortunate to meet Peter shortly after his arrival in Canada almost 60 years ago. We shared an apartment in Toronto with others and I have fond memories of the fun we had in those days.

Dorothy and I extend our condolences and love to Joyce and family.
