Condolences from family and friends

Mr. Chapman was a very special person for students and teachers at Mason Road Jr PS. We will always be honoured for knowing him and grateful to his daughter, our colleague Nancy for bringing her parents into our school family. Many Remembrance Day assemblies were enriched by his presence and contribution. His life stories from the time of the WWll taught us a lot about those difficult years and about the importance of being a positive, brave, and kind human being. I will always remember Mr. Chapman, his smile and his kindness.

We first met Bob and his family when we rented the cottage beside his on Bella Lake. We were privileged to buy another property he had on the lake and build our cottage there 17 years ago. We are better people for having known Bob and Kaye; they were an inspiration when it came to love of family and friends. We will miss them both.
