So sorry for the loss of your mother. She was a remarkable lady with a loving spirit and quiet strength. I always enjoyed hearing from Joan how she was getting on in the retirement home, and was amazed when her hearing failed and she learned to text. Such resilience! A life to be celebrated and what a beautiful legacy she left behind , in such a large loving family.❤️
My deepest condolences to the Leufkens Family. I was truly blessed to have had the pleasure of Ruth Leufkens as my Aunt! She was an amazing woman, living by the Golden Rule (do unto others as you would have them do unto you). She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her! Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls and the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen

To The Leufkens Family,
Please accept our heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your Mother.
Ruth was one of our founding members. It was because of her hard work and dedication that we managed to stay together for 25 wonderful years. We may not physically be a group anymore, but we are definitely a group in spirit and Ruth will always be with us.

Dear Bernie and the Canadian Leufkens Family...what a beautiful service. Strange and amazing times that we can actually "attend" such things live from so far away. We are sending you our love and condolences from California. (BTW Bernie...it's not 85 in Santa Barbara today...only a chilly 70 so we'll probably run the heater.) I tried to find some photos of your mom that you might not have but now that everything is digitized I'm not sure if it's easier, or harder! - Hugs to everyone.

Our dear Aunt Ruth was such a loving, giving and caring woman whom I respected and admired. She faced many challenges but her spirit, her love for life and her love for her family never wavered. She always put others' needs ahead of her own. She had a love of desserts, just like her brother - my dad - and she was very devoted to her faith. She will be sadly missed and always remembered.
Dear Leufkens Family
Thinking of you all during this sad time.
I have fond memories of sharing many special moments together and many cups of tea ( and something sweet of course! )
Gracious, positive and lovely - Ruth touched many lives and had unmatched love and kindness in her heart.
Rest with the Angels Ruth xoxo
