Thelma was such a lovely person and generous great grandma to Chloe, our daughter. Chloe loved seeing her and spending time with her when she would visit at Norm's house. We have lots of fond memories of her. She will be greatly missed. Thinking of you Norm and all the family during this difficult time. XxDee

Deepest sympathy to all the family. I will miss you my long time friend Thelma. I only have memories left of you which I will cherish forever. Our kids grew together, you were god mother to our twins and I will always remember our times on Spruce Hill Road. You were a good friend. God bless, your friend Olga Sopoci.

Thelma was a lovely lady if a bit stubborn, re taking lifts to shop. Always wanting to walk although was so bad for her.
She was the first one there when anyone wanted help, also setting up for Halloween, Christmas, with her lovely baked goods, and so many crafts. Such a talented Person. I will miss her very much but she is in a better place now. Love you Thelma. Condolences to the Family.

My heart is sad! Since we never had any of our Slovak relatives here, Auntie Thelma was truly our Auntie - in every sense of the word. We will miss you dear lady! I’m sure you’re in the arms of your dear daughter Helen. Wishing you, Emily and Norman and family, great comfort and strength through these hard times. Love you, Sussi

Dear Emily and Norman, so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother and our Auntie Thelma. My thoughts are with you! I was happy to chitchat with Auntie Thelma at Mama’s get-together earlier this year. She didn’t think I remembered her - but I certainly did! My fond memories were stopping in for a visit and swim at the Pickering home! We were always welcome!

Rest is Peace Auntie Thelma, you will be remembered!

Sending our sympathies to Norman, Emily and families. Auntie Thelma, my godmother, was a kind and caring woman and I have fond memories of her as a child spoiling us twins (Paulie and I). Very sad to hear of her sudden passing but grateful that I was able to spend some time with her last February. May she rest in peace. Hugs to all of you.

Dorie Stewart and Family
