The Ontario Association for Families of Children with Communication Disorders is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of one of our founding members and Past President - Dr. Genese Warr-Leeper. Genese was a friend, mentor and resource within our group for over 25 years. There was no stronger advocate for children with speech and language disorders than Genese. She was able to explain the impact of speech-language disorders succinctly and provide the evidence for Speech-Language Pathology services. It is because of all that she was that her voice will be sorely missed. We will continue to advocate for speech-language services as we know she would want us to do. Susan Strachan Co- President
